Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for a pair of suspects they say is behind a violent home invasion.

Officers say around 10 p.m. Tuesday, the men forced their way into a home along Old Brass Road. That's located off of Clemson Road in Northeast Columbia.

Investigators say the men, who were wearing ski masks,  physically assaulted a man in the home and stole his wallet. They also stole the purse of another person who lived at the home, and a laptop and a Keenan High School jacket.

The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics.
