Gamecocks Jump Five Spots in BCS Rankings

Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- The University of South Carolina made a nice jump in the latest BCS Rankings. The Gamecocks are now ranked eighth in the rankings. They were previously ranked 13th.

With the help of teams ahead of them losing coupled with their 38-35 shooutout win over Tennessee, the Gamecocks were able to climb in the polls. Their rival, the Clemson Tigers, also improved. The Tigers are now ranked 13th in the BCS. They were 18th a week ago.
