COLUMBIA, SC--(WLTX) A man was killed early this morning when his car ran off the road according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
At approximately 2 a.m. Saturday morning, a 1990 Mitsubishi truck was traveling north on N. Trenholm extension when the truck left the road and struck a pole and overturned, according to Brent Kelley with the Highway Patrol.
The 33 year-old male, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Richland Memorial Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
His name has not been released.
