Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Two suspects have been charged in connection with a high-speed chase in Richland County.
Richland County deputies say the incident began Tuesday night when officers attempted to pull over a vehicle on Two Notch Road that had been reported stolen by Columbia Police.
The car didn't stop, leading to a pursuit between officers and the suspects. Eventually, the suspects' vehicle hit another car in the 2300 block of Taylor Street.
The people in the other car were taken to the hospital with what are described as non life-threatening injuries.
Officer have identified the suspects as 21-year-old Tarrance Douglas and 35-year-old Earl Hunter. They are charged with failure to stop for blue lights and resisting arrest, but additional charges are expected.
