COLUMBIA, SC--(WLTX)--When Marcus Lattimore was carried off the field during a home game against Tennessee earlier this year, no one was sure if he would be able to come back.
The University of South Carolina's running back suffered a serious knee injury that many thought could end his football career. But, according to head coach Steve Spurrier, it is an injury that will allow him to come back for next year's season.
In the meantime, as a way to show support and raise money for 'Make-A-Wish', the Chi Omega Sorority at USC is selling t-shirts.
The shirts, gray Hanes tagless t-shirts say on front, "You'll be Back" and on the back have Lattimore's jersey number, '21' and says 'We'll be Waiting.".
The shirts are designed, according to the website, to "represent the unconditional support Gamecock Nation has for Marcus Lattimore."
You can order one of the shirts here, Lattimore Shirts. The cost is $12 for a S-XXL.
All the money raised from the sale of the shirts will benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation, Chi Omega's charity partner for the last ten years.
