Lexington, SC (WLTX) - Lexington police say a train hit a pedestrian Thursday afternoon, killing him.
The collision took place around 5:15 p.m. at South Lake Drive and Railroad Avenue, just south of the Town of Lexington.
Both the train and the man were heading eastbound, with the man walking on the middle of tracks.
Police believe he didn't hear train. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Lexington police and the Lexington County Coroner's office are still investigating.
