Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for a suspect who got involved in a fight with a store clerk--all over beer.

The incident took place around 11 p.m. on October 30 at the El Cheapo's at 1013 Percival Road.

Officers say one of the suspects stole two cases of beer from the store. Surveillance video shows the suspect leaving the store, and then a few second later, a store employee can be seen running after the man.

The employee then grabs the two cases of beer back from the suspect and walks back toward the store. At that point, the suspect jumps on the employee's back and grabs him around the neck. The two then struggle for a few more moments.

A second suspect was also at the scene. Eventually, the suspects got away.
