Treshea Bolden and Andre McCant Moore Jr. arrested in connection with burglarizing a home.
Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Columbia Police have arrested three people suspected of a home burglary, including a minor.
Police have arrested 20-year-old Andre McCant Moore Jr. who's charged with two counts of first degree burglary, larceny, unlawful carrying of a pistol, possession of a stolen pistol, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony and possession of drugs.
Authorities also arrested 22-year-old Treshea Bolden and have charged her with accessory after the fact (of a felony). The 16-year-old who's identity is being withheld is charged with first degree burglary and larceny.
Around 4:00 Sunday Morning, police said Moore and the teen broke into the back door a home on Bratton Street. Authorities said the pair stole over $9,300 worth of electronics, weapons, jewelry, purses and perfume.
Witnesses saw one of the suspects carrying a flat screen TV from the home and gave CPD a description of the person and suspected getaway car.
That's when officers searched the area and found the described vehicle. After making a lawful traffic stop the suspects were arrested.
Police were given consent to search the vehicle and found a pistol that was reported stolen from Forest Acres and a small bag of what they said appeared to be marijuana.
CPD is also investigating two additional burglaries in the same area.
Shortly after 3:00 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to two houses on Hagwood Avenue. Officers said someone broke into the homes but it appeared nothing was stolen.
In one case, the victim was sleeping and heard a knock at the door. When he walked downstairs he found someone standing inside the house. The victim yelled at the suspect and the person ran away from the house.
No one was injured in either case. CPD is investigating whether all three cases are connected.
