Men Accused of Stealing $3,200 in Gas from Store

Lee County, SC (WLTX) - Two Columbia men are behind bars accused of stealing more than $3,200 worth of gas from a Lee County gas station.

Deputies say 33-year-old Rocky Robinson and 57-year-old Rupert Jones used a magnetic card reader to swipe the gas from the A & T quick stop in Bishopville.

Officers caught up to the men after receiving a tip. They were arrested at the gas station at about 2 a.m. Monday.

They are each charged with larceny.
