Irmo, SC (WLTX) - Irmo police say they have arrested all three people suspected of breaking into a home where a 13-year-old was inside.
Irmo Police Chief Brian Buck announced that all suspects were in custody around 4 p.m.
Buck says say the boy was inside his home near the intersection of Archers Lane and Valleywood Court. According to Buck, the boy was home sick from school and was by himself.
The boy heard some rustling inside the home and called his mother. When the call dropped out, she called 9-1-1.
Officers say the child got out of the home safely and was reunited with his mother.
Buck says they believe three people entered through a back door in the home. Officers say they were able to arrest one suspect, a woman, as she was fleeing the house. The other two suspects were found on Top Knoll Court in the Harbison neighborhood.
The suspects have been identified as 26-year-old Antoine Woodlin, 20-year-old Dan Demetri Ford, and 17-year-old Precious Gadson.
Surrounding streets had to be blocked off while officers handled the situation.
