Columbia, SC (WLTX) - News19 has confirmed that USC wide receiver Ace Sanders has signed an agent, meaning he will officially enter April's NFL Draft.
News19 spoke with Terry Bolar, who serves as the CEO of Prestige Sports International, who confirmed he will represent Sanders.
We also spoke with George Hawthorne, the COO of Prestige Sports International, who also confirmed Bolar will represent Sanders.
Bolar tells News19 he is a long-time friend of Sanders' dad. Bolar also says they have high hopes for Sanders and look forward to April.
On Tuesday night, a twitter account believed to be operated by Sanders said he's foregoing his senior year to enter the draft.
The account tweeted the following:
"Day full of emotion. Thank you everyone a part of gamecock nation. I appreciate everything you did for me. #tearsofjoy. I love you guys."
Sanders led the team with nine receiving touchdowns this year and two returns touchdowns. He was named the MVP of the Outback Bowl after scoring three touchdowns.
