Fire Causes $300,000 in Damage to Apartments

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A fire heavily damaged a Columbia apartment complex Tuesday afternoon.

The fire took place at the Arbor Wood Apartments on Percival Road, according to Columbia Fire Department Public Information Officer Brick Lewis. 

Lewis says the Fire Department was dispatched to the apartment complex at approximately 1:45PM. 

No injuries were reported.

About 10 people have been displaced by the fire, and total damage is estimated at $300,000. A cause of the fire is not yet known.
