Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Richland County Deputies have cited several people after raiding Club Crush just before 2am Saturday morning.
Deputies say they received a tip that the club was continuing illegal operations.
Officials say when law enforcement raided the club, they found that the business was selling alcohol without a license and was operating as a "sexually oriented business" without a license.
Deputies cited club manager, 45-year old Neely Smith, and three female adult entertainers.
Sheriff Leon Lott released the following statement:
"The ownership and management of Club Crush drew a line in the sand daring us to close them down. We will do all we can to make that happen as well as make sure they follow the law until their doors are locked permanently. Any establishment that repeatedly endangers people's lives and violates the law will not be tolerated in Richland County. "
