Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The Columbia Fire Department responded to a house fire around 5am Saturday morning on Cermack St.
The Richland County Fire Marshal's Office has determined that fire began in the gas furnace.
Officials say damages are estimated at 70,000 dollars.
According to fire officials, three adults and two children have been displaced. It is unknown who was inside the home during the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
