Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Richland County Deputies have arrested a man they say assaulted a woman early Saturday morning.
Deputies say they responded to a domestic violence call around 5:20am Saturday morning at a Motel 6 on the 7000 block of Mates Road.
According to officials, 33-year old Clint Harris was arrested and charged with kidnapping and criminal domestic assault with a high and aggravated nature.
Deputies have not released details on how the woman was assaulted or her condition. Two kids were also in the motel room. They were not injured.
