Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has released the name of the victim who died in a fatal wreck early Saturday morning.

Coroner Watts say 27-year old Jacob Woo from Columbia was traveling on the 11000 block of Farrow Road around 4am when he ran off the left side of the road, struck a utility pole and then hit a tree.

According to Coroner Watts, Woo was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Troopers say the driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this accident.
