Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County Coroner Harry Harman remains in the hospital following injuries suffered in a collision last month.

Harman's office released an update Wednesday on the 78-year-old. The statement said Harman remains in the trauma unit at Palmetto Health Richland.

Harman was injured in a car collision on February 23rd while on his way to a visitation.

His office says his family is "grateful for and encouraged by his recovery thus far."

Harman has served as Lexington County's coroner for 36 years.
