Clemson, SC (WLTX)- Clemson football will cost fans a bit more this year after officials announced an increase in ticket prices.
Season tickets to Clemson's seven home games will cost $330 in 2013 - a $10 increase over last season and a $21 jump over 2011. However, officials say that season ticket holders will see a $40 discount over individual game prices.
The Clemson athletic department announced that tickets will be available for purchase on March 15. The deadline for ticket orders is May 6.
Tiger fans can purchase tickets online at clemsontigers.com or at the Clemson ticket office. Paper applications for season ticket holders will be mailed the week of March 25.
The 2013 schedule includes ACC games against Wake Forest, Boston College, Florida State and Georgia Tech. The Tigers' home non-conference opponents are Georgia, South Carolina State and The Citadel.
Tickets to the Georgia game will be initially available only as part of a 'Kickoff Package' that includes the South Carolina State game the following weekend. The bundle will cost fans $85. IPTAY priority will have first dibs on the remaining Georgia tickets and once those orders are filled, it will be opened to the general public for $75.
The 'Kickoff Package' will be available to select IPTAY levels during the priority purchasing time. Any remaining packages will be released by IPTAY level beginning in late May. Single game tickets will go on sale to the public, based on availability, in early July.
Pricing the remaining home games include $70 for Florida State on Oct. 19; $55 for the Georgia Tech game on Nov. 14; $50 for the Wake Forest game on Sept. 28 and the Boston College game on Oct. 12; and $35 for the S.C. State game on Sept. 7, and the Citadel game on Nov. 23.
Game-day designations will be announced later this month after plans have been finalized.
