Lexington, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies arrested a 19-year-old  they say killed a man Wednesday morning.

Jeffrey O'Neal Kight Jr. is charged with murder and possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Officers say around 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, Kight stood outside the Emma Drive home of 56-year-old William Rush Falls. According to officers, Kight pulled out a shotgun and shot Falls through the window of the home.

Falls was hit in the upper body by the gunfire, and died at the scene.

Investigators say surveillance cameras that Falls had installed in his home show Kight standing in the backyard of the home shortly before the shooting.

Investigators said the motive for the killing remains under investigation. Deputies did say, however, that Kight's address is just down the street from Falls.
