Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department has released a list of people who are accused of being gambling customers of man facing two murder charges.
Brett Parker is charged in the death of his wife, Tammy, and their friend, Bryan Capnerhurst, in April of 2012 in the Ascot subdivision of Irmo.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott has said Brett Parker was involved in a gambling operation, and at the time of the killings, was heavily in debt. He, his father, and another man have all been indicted on a gambling charge.
Investigators have been looking into alleged gambling operation, which resulted in these latest charges.
Nine arrests have been made so far, with more to come on Friday and Monday, according to Captain Chris Cowan with the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
According to deputies, all have been charged with the same magistrate level offense of gambling.
