Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have arrested a 16-year-old male in connection with a stabbing last month.

The juvenile is charged with attempted murder.

Officers say back on February 1, they got a shots fired call on Clark Ridge Road. When they arrived on scene they found a man with a wound to his lower body and a large crowd in the area.

After investigating, officers determined that a party took place at that location, and the victim and suspect got into a fight. During the argument, officers say the 16-year-old stabbed the victim.

Deputies say later, they found two other male stabbing victims, but officers say those men were uncooperative in the investigation. Both of them received life-threatening injuries which required over a month of treatment and surgeries.

Officers have also charged 17-year-old Tasia Profit with breach of peace, and obstructing justice. Officers say she started a fight with two of the juveniles at the same party before the stabbing took place.

While gunshots were fired in the fight, deputies no one was hit by bullets.

Deputies say other arrests could be coming.
