Columbia, SC (WLTX)- Columbia Police have arrested a man accused of kidnapping and robbing seven people at gunpoint.
Columbia Police say 20-year-old Valtori Chapman is charged with six counts of armed robbery, seven counts of kidnapping, 7 counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and first degree burglary.
The incident occurred at a home on Center Street shortly before 2 o'clock in the morning on March 29, 2013.
Chapman is accused of forcefully entering a Center Street residence and demanding that the seven victims, four males and three females get on the kitchen floor at gunpoint.
Chapman allegedly rummaged through the victim's pockets, the home and vehicles looking for items to steal.
Chapman is also accused of stealing electronics, jewelry and three sets of gold teeth impressions or 'grills' out of some of the victims mouths.
None of the victims were physically injured.
CPD believes that Chapman had accomplices during the incident, and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
