Richland County, SC (WLTX) - State troopers have arrested a woman they say hit and killed a man with a car Sunday morning.
Aliza Brown, 53, is charged with felony DUI involving death.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts says Jeremy Ricardo Hayes, 26, of Columbia was struck by a vehicle Saturday night around 9:50pm on Highway 321 north of Columbia.
Troopers say Brown's Dodge Stratus hit Hayes as he was walking in the painted median. Paramedics transported him to Palmetto Richland where he died at 12:59am Sunday morning.
An autopsy conducted Sunday shows that he died from complications of injuries sustained when he was hit by the vehicle.
