Cops: Suspect Shoots at Woman After She Honks at Him

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police are searching for a shoplifting suspect they say shot at a woman who tried to follow him.

Officers have an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Kassie Terrell Ford.

Officers say he took stole hygiene products from a Rite Aid store at 5900 North Main Street on March 20th.

A passerby saw the man leaving the store in his getaway car, and followed him. She began honking her horn at him, and in response, police say the man shot at her out of his window.

The victim was not hurt.

Police say Ford is known to frequent the Hillendale Apartments on Allcott Road.
