Casablanca, Morocco (Sports Network) - A pair of top-three seeds, South African Kevin Anderson and Slovak Martin Klizan, were among Thursday's second- round winners at the Moroccan Grand Prix tennis event.

The second-seeded Anderson popped eight aces and cruised past Spanish qualifier Pablo Carreno-Busta 6-3, 6-3, while the third-seeded Klizan got past Italian qualifier Filippo Volandri 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) on the red clay at Complexe Al Amal.

The 6-foot-8 former University of Illinois star Anderson will meet eighth- seeded Slovenian Grega Zemlja, while the rising Klizan will encounter seventh- seeded Dutchman Robin Haase in Friday's quarterfinals.

Haase outlasted Frenchman Kenny De Schepper 6-2, 6-7 (2-7), 6-3, while Zemlja topped Swiss qualifier Henri Laaksonen 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 on Day 4.

Friday's other quarters will pit top seed Stan Wawrinka against Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and fourth-seeded Frenchman Benoit Paire versus former world No. 5 Tommy Robredo of Spain. The Swiss slugger Wawrinka titled here three years ago, while Robredo was a Casablanca runner-up back in 2001.

In a rarity on the ATP World Tour, all four top seeds reached the quarterfinals this week.

The winner of this $525,000 tournament will earn $96,000.
