Newberry County, SC (WLTX)- A man sought for two counts of robbery by force and aggravated assault for incidents that occurred at the Riverfront Park in Richmond County (Augusta), Georgia was taken into custody last night in Newberry, SC at a residence on Holloway Street.
Robbey Eugene Moses, 21, of Augusta, Georgia was taken into custody Friday evening by officers of the Newberry County Sheriff's Office, Newberry Police Department, and the State Law Enforcement Division.
Moses was described as extremely dangerous; however, he was taken into custody without incident. The officers were acting on information they received from investigators from Georgia.
Also taken into custody was Dominque Shantaee Hale, of Augusta, Georgia. She is suspected of assisting Moses with at least of these incidents and warrants had been issued for her arrest as well.
Moses and Hale were taken to the Newberry County Detention Center and investigators from Augusta are expected to arrive this morning.
Authorities will begin the extradition process to return Moses and Hale back to Augusta this morning as well.
