Pelion, SC (WLTX) - Just one day after wltx.com published a story about two JB Guest Home employees who said their paychecks were late, a representative for the home says the checks will be distributed Wednesday.

"I'm meeting with them and getting the paychecks caught up," said Oz Shafer, an accountant for the home. "There was a credit line that got cancelled because of the state cancelling an IPC program."
Shafer is talking about an 'integrated personal care' program that will be deleted from our state's medicaid plan July 1, 2013.
Shafer says there's a new funding plan in the works and that the JB Guest Home has established a new line of credit.
"The new credit line that we set up, we basically bring the money in for this paycheck and the next paycheck," said Shafer. "Basically, it will all be taken care of before the day is over."
