Clarendon County, SC (WLTX) - A man suspected in three killings in South Carolina tried to commit suicide before his bond hearing, according to Clarendon County Sheriff Randy Garrett.
Jeffrey Eady, 31, was set to appear in court late Monday afternoon. However, Garrett says the man slit his own wrists and had to be rushed to the hospital. Previous Coverage: Suspect in 3 Killings in Custody
The hearing was suspended.
Eady is the only suspect in the killing of two Clarendon County women last week, as well as a convenience store employee from Charleston County.
He was captured in Mexico Beach, Florida on Saturday.
