Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The South Carolina Educational Lottery has recruited a former Gamecock to help encourage everyone to play the games responsibly.
San Francisco 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore was paid $20,000 to appear in one 30-second and one 15-second ad.
Lattimore recorded the ads at Williams-Brice Stadium with lottery director Paula Harper Bethea a few weeks ago. She says Lattimore was a professional to work with and he even took time out of the shoot to sign some autographs.
The ads are expected to run for a year.
