Columbia, SC (WLTX) - University of South Carolina students will pay a little more for their education next year.
Monday, the school's Board of Trustees approved a 3.15 percent increase to tuition on average. That's the same increase as last year.
The school says the increases are the lowest they've been since 1999.
For South Carolina residents, the increase means an extra $164 a semester, for a total tuition fee of $5,408. For undergraduates, it's an increase of $442 a semester, bringing total charges to $14,264.
