Shortly before 9:00 p.m Sunday, 52-year-old Calvin Smith and another man got into a fight over a cell phone in the 1000 block of Union Street.
Investigators say that the victim and another man were arguing over a cell phone at the 1000 block of Union Street. Witnesses told police that Zuniga-Torres may have tried to break up the fight, which was near the back of his van.
At some point, officers believe Zuniga-Torres got in his vehicle and started to drive away. Investigators say it appears Smith got tangled underneath the trailer, and was then dragged 1,600 feet.
The other man involved in the fight was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
Officers say they consider Zuniga-Torres a flight risk, and say he has ties to Florida and Honduras.
