Columbia, S.C. (WLTX)-- Columbia Police are asking for your help locating a man who walked away from a residential care facility.
They are looking for 62-year-old Leon Harrison. He was last seen Saturday, June 29 at the care facility, where he resides, in the Eau Claire community.
Police say Harrison requires medication three times a day for a medical condition. He hasn't had the medicine since Saturday. If you see him please call your local law enforcement agency.
According to law enforcement sources, Harrison has been located. News 19 is working to get additional details at this time.
According to Columbia Police spokesman Officer James Crawford, Mr. Harrison was located in a wooded area where he apparently fell, suffered a seizure, and dropped his cell phone.
Officers were able to triangulate his location using his cell phone signal, and found him alive but in need of medical attention.
Officers transported Mr. Harrison to a Columbia hospital, where he is reported to be in good condition currently.
