Florence, SC (WLTX) - The cleanup continues after a tornado destroyed 10 mobile homes and damaged eight others at a mobile home park in Florence County Tuesday night.
Two other stick built homes had roof and siding damage as well during the storm.
The National Weather Service Office in Wilmington, N.C., says the storm hit shortly after 7 p.m. east of Quinby. The tornado was an EF-1 on the tornado intensity scale, with estimated winds of 105 miles an hour.
At least eight people were hurt, but the emergency medical services director says none of the injuries are life threatening--mostly just cuts and bruises.
The Florence County storm on Tuesday is the third confirmed tornado in the state since this past weekend.
