COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Tim Scott is scheduled to spend some time with members of law enforcement communities from across South Carolina.
The Republican is slated to speak Friday to the latest graduates of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy's Basic Law Enforcement Class.
Officials say this class includes graduates from 17 counties across the state.
The ceremony is taking place at the academy's Columbia headquarters.
