Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Traffic is beginning to move normally again after a collision on Interstate 20 in Richland County Thursday morning.
The incident took place in the westbound lanes one mile east of Exit 76. At the height of the problem, all westbound lanes at that location were closed, and at least one lane in the eastbound lanes was also affected.
However, after about an hour, crews were able to open up lanes after removing debris and vehicles.
Details on the collision are few, but News19 has learned an 18 wheeler flat bed truck and another car collided. Columbia Fire officials say the 18-wheeler leaked some fuel.
