Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott wants to identify two people who may know something about the recent theft of lottery tickets.
Officers say on August 9th, a man walked into the AM PM Food Mark on Parklane Road and attempted to cash several lottery tickets that had been stolen a day earlier. A few moments later, a second person came in to get the suspect and the two left the store.
None of the tickets were cashed in.
Deputies say the tickets were taken from the Blythewood Stop and Shop around 3:30 a.m. on August 8th. Officers say the persons broke into the store, and began stealing a large quantity of lottery tickets. Surveillance video was previously released of the theft.
