Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies say they've arrested one suspect and are looking for another who shot at robbery victims.

Friday, deputies announced they'd taken 21-year-old Todd Anthony Cofield Jr. into custody on two counts of attempted murder and armed robbery.

Back on July 1, officers say Cofield and an unknown suspsect pulled a gun on two women outside Mid-Carolina Steel on Fairfield Road and demanded money. According to officers, the victims had just come back from the bank.

After stealing the money, officers say the men fired shots at the victims, then got away in a silver Mercedes. No one was hurt.

During their investigation, deputies say they determined the suspects contacted 20-year-old Carlton Gregory and asked him to get rid of the Mercedes. Gregory has now been charged with armed robbery.
