Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for a missing 26-year-old man and his 10-month-old son.
Officers say Mark Barnes II and his son, Mark Barnes III, haven't been seen since Thursday.
According to deputies, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Barnes II sent his fiancee a message that he and the couple's child were on their way home. When the woman arrived home at 8:30 p.m., she found dinner on the stove, but her son and fiance were not at the house.
His fiance says she's gotten no response to text messages or phone calls made to Barnes. The last time anyone actually saw the man was at 4 p.m. Thursday in Forest Acres.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says Barnes II suffers from serious medical conditions that place him at risk.
Investigators say Mark may be driving a black 2000 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck with South Carolina tag U26773. The vehicle has a black tool box in the bed and damage to the front passenger side bumper.
People who see the two are asked to call 9-1-1.
