Sumter, SC (WLTX)--The man charged in connection with a Halloween shooting in 2008 pleaded guilty Tuesday.
Quentin Patrick, 27, shot and killed T.J. Darrisaw, 12, on Halloween night in 2008.
Patrick opened fire through his door with an AK-47 assault rifle, firing more than 30 bullets through the door killing T.J. and also injuring Darrisaw's brother and father.
Patrick was sentenced to 30 years in prison and an additional charge of manufacturing crack cocaine was dropped.
Family members of the victim were in court today, including T.J.'s mother who was happy with the plea and sentence.
