Officials say an estimated $1 million dollars in damages to businesses in the Spring Valley Commons Shopping Center on Two Notch Road.
Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Investigators with the Richland County Fire Marshal's office have determined the fire early Monday at a Two Notch strip mall was intentionally set.
At roughly 12:30AM firefighters responded to a call at 9000 Two Notch Road in the Spring Valley Commons Shopping Center.
More than 60 firefighters responded to the scene, and by the time the fire was out, several businesses had been destroyed.

Investigators with the Richland County Fire Marshal's Office report that preliminary results of this morning's investigation show the fire was intentionally set inside a self-storage business located in the center of the shopping complex.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department will conduct a criminal investigation into the fire.
