Columbia, SC (WLTX)- You've voted all week for your favorite Indie Grits Cinematic story on WLTX.com, captured last week at the S.C State Fair grounds, and at the final day of the state fair the winner of the 48 Hour Film Blitz were announced.
The 10 teams competed for cash prizes, and had 48 hours to produce short films, shot entirely against the backdrop of the S.C. State Fair.
Each team randomly drew the film genres and props required to be included in their short films.
This year's event took place over the first weekend of the S.C. State Fair, October 11 - 13.
The final screening and awards ceremony was on Sunday evening in the Rosewood Building.
All 10 groups of Filmmakers, along with friends and family, enjoyed a reception prior to the final screening.
And The Winners Are:
"Germ Blaster 2000" - Won the $500 King Blitz Award
"Zipper" - Won the $500 People's Choice Award
"A Girl Named Sue" - Won the $250 Best Use Of Agriculture Award
