Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Services have been scheduled for Columbia activist, attorney Steve Morrison. Morrison, 64, died over the weekend.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at New Chapel of Leevy's Funeral Home at 1831 Taylor Street in Columbia.
A memorial service will take place Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Martin's-In-The-Fields Episcopal Church at 5220 Clemson Avenue in Forest Acres.

Morrison was one of the lawyers who sued the state on behalf of rural schools who claimed they were neglected. The Corridor of Shame case, Abbeville vs. the State of South Carolina, was in court for 102 days in 2003.
Morrison also ran for mayor in 2010, and was on the Spoleto Festival USA, Urban League and Benedict College boards.
