Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The State Law Enforcement Division says a former administrative assistant with the Department of Juvenile Justice is accused of recording two people's conversation without their knowledge.
Leann M. Cudd, 29, is charged with one count of wiretapping/intentional interception, use, or disclosure of any wire, electronic or oral communication.
A warrant states that back on September 23rd, Cudd put her iPhone under the office door of the inspector general. Agents say she then used the phone's voice recorder app to record a conversation that she wasn't a part of.
If convicted, she faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
