Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies have arrested a man they say had 20 video poker machines stored in a mobile home on his property.

Officers arrested 66-year-old David Lee Chase, charging him with three counts of unlawfully possessing a gambling device.

Deputies say back on November 27th, they got a call of a break-in at the mobile home. Officers say Chase told them a man opened the front door of the home, then ran way.

Deputies were not able to find the suspect in that crime.

As operators investigated, they say they found 20 Pot-O-Gold devices inside the home. Deputies say Chase told them the machines that were stored in the home had been used in bars that Chase used to own in South Carolina and Georgia. (The man has a another mobile home on the property that he lives inside.)

A local magistrate declared that the machines were illegal, and Chase was taken into custody. He's since been released on bail.
