Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County's Peachtree Rock has toppled over.
Visitors noticed the rock had fallen on its side over the weekend. It's unclear exactly when it might have tipped.
The sandstone structure is well-known in the Midlands because of its unusual shape: it has a wide top that narrows at the base.
The rock resides on a 450 acre heritage preserve that also features a waterfall.
It's not clear yet what caused the rock to fall over.
