MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Two men have been sentenced for their roles in a 2009 stabbing death at a Myrtle Beach nightclub.
Twenty-three-year-old Joshua Griffith of Greenville was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Friday after a jury found him guilty of murder, assault and battery with intent to kill and criminal conspiracy.
Twenty-seven-year-old Blakely Kalen Brown previously pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact and was sentenced Friday to eight years in prison.
The men were arrested after the September 2009 stabbing death of 19-year-old David Jon Houghtailing at the Afterdeck nightclub in Myrtle Beach.
Houghtailing died at a hospital from a stab wound to the chest. Two others were injured.
