Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The opening of the 2014 South Carolina baseball season has been postponed due to the winter weather.

The team's game against Bucknell was to have been played this Friday. However, Bucknell has to make a change in their travel plans because of the winter weather.

Instead, there will now be a double-header Saturday at Carolina Stadium. The first game is set for noon, and the second game will be at 4 p.m.

Both games will be nine innings.  Tickets for Friday's opener will be honored for only game one of the doubleheader. Tickets for the originally scheduled Saturday game will be honored for only game two of the doubleheader.
