Curtis Wilson knows what it's like to wake up early. It's been a part of his daily routine since joining the Army and he hasn't stopped waking up early since 1982. He starts his days now with Co-anchor Nat Roers and Meteorologist Scott Ryan it's his job to make sure your day gets off to a great start.

Curtis joined WLTX as Morning Co-anchor in December of 2002. He is a broadcast veteran who spent 24-years in radio before making the move to television. Before that, Curtis was the host and producer of the top rated Curtis & Company Morning Show at The Big DM, WWDM.

Born in Brooklyn N.Y, Curtis is a graduate of The NY School of Announcing and Speech for Broadcasting and is a graduate of Benedict College with a degree in Mass Communications.

Curtis is very involved in The Midlands community. He's a member of 100 Black Men of Greater Columbia along with St. Marks 629 Masonic Lodge. Curtis works with Harvest Hope Food Bank, Sickle Cell Foundation, American Red Cross, Oliver Gospel Mission, United Way, Columbia Urban League and many other organizations.

Curtis is involved with helping kids too. His work with The Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services is aimed at reducing the usage of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in the teen community. He is married to the former Kecia Young and have one son Chaz.

Curtis is also known as the "Official Voice of the Benedict College Tigers," announcing the football and basketball programs. He is back with WWDM radio "The Big DM" you can hear him nights and weekends!
