From growing up in a small liberal arts town in New York, to singing her heart out to 'Rocky Top' at Tennessee football games, Lauren has a story for everything. And although they're good, it's her passion for telling other peoples stories that got her into journalism.
Lauren began working at News19 in December of 2007. She started off as a producer and worked on the assignment desk and it wasn't long before she tried her hand at multi-media journalism. Now she finds herself as the weekend anchor, and some days you'll see her carrying a camera and reporting. Either way, she loves every minute of it!
Lauren is from Clinton, New York but soon made her way down south as a Tennessee Volunteer. After graduating with a degree in Journalism and Electronic Media, she back-packed Europe and decided to stay in London. There she worked as an associate producer for an Academy-Award winning film company. After returning to the states, she realized she couldn't live without her English love, Charlie, and they were married in October of 2008.
When Lauren's not at work, you may be able to find her at the beach with her family, reading classic literature, trying to keep up at an exercise class, or playing with her pets!
