Children Report Suspicious Clown in Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, MD. (WUSA9) - More than one child reported seeing person(s) dressed in clown costumes with face paint on in Annapolis, according to Annapolis Police Department.

The incidents have been reported over a few days beginning Sept. 15 in several Annapolis neighborhoods. So far, only children have spotted the person(s) in clown costume.

Incidents were reported in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive, Bens Drive near Victor Parkway, and the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue.

As of now, the reports remain unconfirmed. However, the Annapolis Police Department is reminding residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity in the area.
